Top Turn-Based Tactics Games on Android in Oceania: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the turn-based tactics genre on the Android platform in Oceania showcased interesting trends among the top five games, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™ experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at approximately $27.3K at the start of April, then gradually decreasing to $13.3K by the end of June. Weekly downloads saw an increase towards the end of May, reaching 733, while active users peaked mid-May at 3.4K before declining to 2.4K by quarter’s end.

SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL showed a significant revenue spike at the end of June with $30.7K, following a mid-quarter low of $3.9K. Downloads decreased steadily, with numbers dropping from 2.3K in mid-April to 285 by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 2.3K late April before settling around 1.6K.

Fire Emblem Heroes maintained a consistent revenue stream, averaging between $3.3K and $7.3K throughout the quarter. Active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at 2K and ending slightly lower at 1.8K.

Magic War Legends: Tactics RPG had modest revenue figures, ranging from $478 to $1K. Downloads and active users followed a similar stable trend, with active users peaking at 423 in early April and ending at 306.

Lastly, Sword of Convallaria had a varied revenue performance, with a peak of $1.8K in early June. Downloads were minimal, while active users started at 176, peaked at 526 mid-April, and concluded the quarter at 175.
